Kali Retallack

Founder

Kali is a movement instructor and creative human based in Gold Coast, Australia.

Kali has toured the world as a circus performer, acquiring knowledge about the body, relationships, trust and how to listen in to what the body is telling you.

Towards the end of her circus career, Kali found her body was telling her to stop such an intensely physical job. During that time she has what some people call a download. Whilst lying in bed not being able to sleep she heard the name “The Feminine Movement Collective” and she knew this was something she had to explore. How could she use her body to listen to where her limits are and what it was trying to tell her? How could she use her experience in performing and circus to benefit others? What way could she move to get in touch with her intuition and her emotions? How could she still be creative without being intensely physical?

The Feminine Movement collective was the answer to these questions and a way for others tune in and answer some of those questions too. In an environment that celebrates sisterhood, creativity and individuality xx

Certifications

Kali has certifications in dance, pilates, yoga and yin yoga.

Forever a student, Kali is endlessly interested in the human mind, body, and how she can teach and hold space in a way that is accessible, enjoyable and benefits humanity.

Fun:

We aim to make our practices and events as flowing and fun as possible. We hope by creating a safe space you can allow your body to let go.
